In the wild, Eclectus parrots live mostly on a diet of fresh fruit, so using a staple food designed as Eclectus food will ensure your feathered beauty gets the high levels of fructose he needs to be healthy and
active. It's very important, however, to supplement lots of fresh fruit - every day if possible (no avocados, which are toxic to birds; avoid apple seeds as well) in addition to a daily Eclectus food.
Dried fruit treats will be welcome too (but don't skimp on the fresh!)
