Conditioning perches are the best way to keep your bird's claws trimmed. This is important, since bird claws grow quickly, and long nails can cause discomfort, pain or behavioral problems. (You can
clip them, but have a vet or experienced bird owner show you the right way.) Add a conditioning perch or two to the
comfort perches in your bird cage - made of different natural abrasive minerals and materials, some perches even provide nutrients.
